Dear Glenorchy Knights members,

After a very long break all teams will finally return to competitions over the next two weeks. Football Tasmania has received approval for games to be played however there are protocols that need to be followed by clubs, players, parents and spectators. A copy of the Football Tasmania Resumption of Football Competition Guidelines is on our Resources page. Please take the time to read this and I ask everyone to continue to observe social distancing, health and hygiene protocols.

The club will reopen the Bar/Kiosk at KGV for all our home games. To enable this there are protocols we must follow. For example, patrons will need to sign in the first time they enter the bar/kiosk and the maximum capacity is 60 at any one time. Please follow any directions given by our volunteers.

Our club committee has worked very hard on your behalf to ensure the resumption of games. COVID-19 has impacted on our sponsors and our ability to do fundraising. Like other businesses and sporting clubs, our club is experiencing difficult times and we would appreciate your support by attending games.

I would also like to inform you that now that rosters and refunds from Football Tasmania have been confirmed, the club will reduce registration fees accordingly. This takes into account less games played. Information will be emailed to all registered players over the coming weeks.
