WSL 2024

Coach and Squad Information

I am looking forward to a positive 2024 for the female football program at the Glenorchy Knights Football Club. 

After many years of hard work building towards this point, the Knights are excited to field a team in the Tasmanian Women's Super League (WSL) for the first-time next season.  This will be a huge boost for the many talented female players at our club, providing them with a clear pathway to top-level senior football.

On a personal level, I am very excited to be the inaugural WSL head coach at the Knights.  I will be working with the players to build a positive and supportive team culture, where together we will celebrate our successes and learn and grow from our mistakes.   We will look to be adventurous in possession, whilst compact and disciplined in defence.  We will work hard for each other, as we look to bring our best selves to every training session and every match we participate in.

Pre-season training will be 6.30-8.00pm Tuesdays and Thursdays at Cornelian Bay, commencing on 28 November 2023, before breaking for Christmas and resuming in the New Year. 

New players are most welcome.
